|
 | 28th Dec 2008 | RPSI mulled wine and mince pie train
A badly delayed 186 meant my plan of chasing the train south from Craigmore viaduct didnt work out, as 186's poor steaming held it up by 2 hours, affecting both the light and my patience. Chasing trains does not always work in your favour and on this day it did not! No 4 put in a better performance heading back north, but it was dark for the whole run, so couldnt chase that.
Also shots of the Tara Mines 071's, 171 shunting, and 8208 on the Enterprise
Photos taken at Craigmore Viaduct,Boyne Viaduct,Drogheda Station and Connolly station
